Concord First Assembly Church in Concord, NC has installed a Ricoh Pro C 900 production printer to meet the on-going in-house needs of its growing congregation, its K-12 school, assisted living facility, and daycare center. The church, which previously outsourced its production printing to a local print shop, is using the Pro C900 to economically and cost-effectively manage its growing printing requirements.
Important factors in the selection of the Pro C900 were functionality, flexibility, speed, and high end results, offered at an affordable price. In addition, the printer’s color consistency, increased productivity, and turnaround time were instrumental in confirming the need to bring printing accessibility in-house. Concord First Assembly is now well equipped to handle a slew of projects, including four-color work, cards, banners, songbooks, school documents, and business reports.
“Because our smaller office devices are from Ricoh, I knew the company delivered an excellent product,” says Cindy Corl, print media director for Concord First Assembly. “The Pro C900’s quality color output and ease of maintenance, along with the ability to customize materials to more effectively reach new and existing members, were key decision factors for us. Creating materials in-house with the RicohPro C900 has saved us valuable time, and people actually think we’re outsourcing to a commercial printer, that’s how good the pieces look.”
Concord First Assembly plans to move into variable data printing to enhance the church’s marketing efforts. Additional plans include adding a cover interposer and heavier bookletmaker to allow creation of larger documents.
