Standard Unveils New Functions on Inserting System

Standard Finishing Systems (Booth 1244) is premiering new features and functionality on the Standard KAS line of intelligent inserting machines.

A flexible new option for fast, reliable feeding of CD’s, DVD’s, and other media is being shown. This track-mounted device feeds a range of shapes and sizes down to business card size at up to 6,000 envelopes per hour. On the show floor, the 465HS system is equipped with the new KAS camera system that reads 2D, 1D, OCR or OMR for applications requiring verification and integrity.

CCI/CoakleyTech of Hartland, WI recently added a Standard KAS MailMaster 465HS Mail Inserting System to its mailing services department. The inserter handles #10 to 10x13-inch envelopes for mailroom flexibility.

“The 465HS is a great addition to our mailing operations here at CCI/CoakleyTech," says Steve Henck, VP of Production. "It has enabled us to expand our mailing capabilities and its intelligent inserting, flexibility, and efficiency have helped us maximize our customers’ direct mail return on investment.”

CCI/CoakleyTech offers a robust suite of services including data management, print production and finishing, mailing, distribution, and eSolutions.

The 465 HS comprehensive enveloping system offers modularity, durability and ease of set up, says Henck. Insert stations can handle a wide variety of material including single sheets, cards, reply envelopes, pre-loaded items and booklets up to ¼-inch thick. They can also feed multiple inserts per set or cycle.
