Agfa :Apogee Users Group Meeting Held Today

Agfa Graphics’ :Apogee Users Group is holding its annual meeting today in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO 2010 in room S504d of McCormick Place.

The :Apogee Users Group has convened annually for more than 10 years, providing a platform for Agfa’s :Apogee users to network, share best practices, optimize current processes and learn the new features of the :Apogee Suite, Agfa’s automated workflow system, directly from Agfa executives.

According to Deborah Hutcheson, Director of Marketing, for Agfa Graphics North America, “GRAPH EXPO 2010 provides an ideal backdrop for the :Apogee Users Group meeting. GRAPH EXPO has so much to offer as the largest graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Americas,” she said. “Members of the users group attend the show to see and learn about the latest technological innovations for the industry, so scheduling the annual meeting during GRAPH EXPO makes for a convenient time and place for them to meet.”

“GRAPH EXPO is valuable to graphic communications professionals precisely because it is such a diverse and inclusive show,” says Ralph Nappi, president of the Graphic Arts Show Company. “Members of the :Apogee Users Group understand that GRAPH EXPO truly addresses the full spectrum of graphic communications needs. For the prepress specialist, attending GRAPH EXPO 2010 means being able to see live demonstrations of the latest prepress technologies, having the opportunity to determine firsthand how those technologies will contribute to your overall production process and being able to talk directly with vendors and peers about your workflow issues and solutions.”
