Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS 8000 is Must See ‘em Awardee
The Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS 8000 won coveted Must See ‘em recognition at GRAPH EXPO. During a press conference on Monday, Kevin Kern, Senior Vice President, Marketing, revealed that the company has introduced the bizhub PRESS 7000 and bizhub PRESS 6000 at GRAPH EXPO 2010. The new presses are based on the bizhub PRESS 8000 print engine, but are designed for lower volume demands and at a lower price point. Both new presses can be seen at Konica Minolta’s booth (#2244). They will replace the company’s popular model 6501, which has been discontinued. The 65hc model, however, will remain part of the company’s portfolio due to the specialized niche it occupies.
Kern also discussed the company’s new Business Development Services—a program focused on helping customers drive revenue growth in the production print marketplace—and its Clean Planet Program. The latter program provides complete recycling opportunities so that no part of any Konica Minolta print equipment ever has to end up in a landfill. Both are featured at the company’s booth.
