Xplor International continued its Document University educational series at GRAPH EXPO on Tuesday. Nine 60-minute seminars featured topics ranging from ADF (Automated Document Factory) technology and integrity systems to customer engagement and data analytics.
“Some printers are doing it [data],” says the president of a large Canadian direct marketing firm, “but most don’t do it well.” Help came in one morning program, where Kodak “evangelist” Pat McGrew covered data questions and issues. How do you obtain data? “Ask customers for it and do surveys,” says McGrew. “If they feel like they have a relationship with you, they’ll usually tell you. And giving incentives makes their cooperation 500 percent more likely!”
