Printing Industries of America has teamed up with NAPL and NPES to bring you the Vision 3 Summit—a one-of-a-kind program that harnesses our individual strengths to give the print community the best information, the latest business intelligence, up-to-the-moment industry trends, technology updates, and market research all in one comprehensive conference.

We've come together to create this conference because it's more important than ever to educate our industry on the latest information and strategies available to them. The Vision 3 Summit contains the knowledge and experience of three great associations and will arm printers with the tools to keep print thriving and the industry evolving. To achieve this mission, we've assembled sessions lead by experts in their field, on the economy, leadership, innovation, politics, marketing and technology.

It’s important to earn the trust and respect of your clients, and what better way to do that than by utilizing social media? It’s one of the best ways to communicate information in a simple and effective manner. The session Social “Security”—Cementing Client Relationships with Social Media, lead by Julie Shaffer, Vice President of Digital Technologies at Printing Industries of America, will show you how you can jump into the social media stream to access a wider audience and increase your pool of clients and customers.

One of the more random concerns for a business has been predicting the future of the economy. Knowing what to expect from the economy can play a huge part in the planning of a business and the session, 2011—What’s Ahead for the Industry?, will explain just that. Andrew Paparozzi, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at NAPL, will share with attendees important insight and the understanding necessary to chart a financially stable path for their business.

Effective leadership is a necessity for any company looking to grow and continue to thrive. The Leadership—From Vision to Reality session will specifically focus on that topic and what it takes to drive one’s company forward in these challenging times. This is an interactive workshop tailored to augment current leadership abilities and transform your big ideas into realistic goals.

A special lunch keynote, Vision for Success—Does Your Company’s Viewpoint Align with Capitol Hill?, will address legislative uncertainties and inform you on what to expect from Congress in the next couple years. The graphic communications industry is different from others in that our industry sits at the crossroads of many different legislative issues. Any legislative changes related to the environment, labor, postal regulations, and tax policies all affect graphic communications. Therefore, it’s important for executives to fully understand what they can expect from the new Congress and what they can do to help influence the outcome.

Conference sessions feature some of the greatest innovators in our industry who have pioneered and capitalized on modern trends. One session, titled Innovators Panel—Vision That Created New Models, will have representatives from Mimeo.com, Valpak, and PrintingForLess.com who will share their tales of success as well as the adversities and trials they’ve had to overcome. In addition, we have HGI Company, Wordsprint and The Standard Group together in the Pacesetters Panel—Leading the Industry by Example to discuss how they’ve set themselves apart from their peers, despite what their size or path of success might be.

NAPL, NPES, and Printing Industries of America are pulling out all the stops to ensure that this conference addresses the biggest challenges in the industry. With sessions that will help printers understand and better leverage the economy, politics, and marketing for your business, we know that anyone who attends this conference will leave prepared for a brighter future.
