Gerber Scientific Products, Inc. - Booth #1917

Gerber Scientific Products, Inc. will have the Gerber Solara ionZ and the M Turbo flatbed digital die-cutting system at the SGIA.

The Solara ionZ has eight print heads that fire a a 14 picoliter size drop of ink that allows the printer to generate a higher print resolution.

The M Turbo flatbed digital die-cutting system features a more powerful, 1-kilowatt electric router that allows users to rout .080 aluminum and thick rigid materials up to one-inch thick. It can also rout thinner rigid boards, like aluminum composite materials, up to four times faster than the standard M Series router.

The Gerber M Turbo flatbed cutter also offers new software improvements that allow the user to control the rpm at which the M Turbo routs. The router head is configured into the M Series T3 Tool Head design, so the M Turbo still takes advantage of all the standard M Series tools, such as the reciprocating knife, crease wheel, tangential knives, and more.

SignUp Auto is a fully automated nesting and tiling solution that allows companies to more efficiently utilize their range of different raw substrates, eliminate costly operator time in desktop publishing packages, and provides the mechanism as a dedicated workflow tool to accept files from a digital storefront.

SignUp Auto is able to understand and process XML and JDF files as prepress input and its automation makes it ideal as a receiver of storefront input for Web-to-print. Along with nesting and tiling, SignUp Auto supports double-sided displays, multi-page PDF workflows, and can easily nest irregular shapes.

The Kongsberg XP24 (with a working area of 66x126 inches) has a maximum cutting speed of 66 inches per second. It can be used to convert a wide range of display materials, including all grades of corrugated board, display carton, corrugated plastic, foam boards, and all corresponding rigid display materials.

The Kongsberg i-XE10 cuts screen- or digitally-printed materials and can handle kiss and through cutting of vinyl, polycarbonate, polyester, polypropylene, carton and more, up to single wall corrugated material as large as 35.4x47.2 inches.

Alcan Composites USA - Booth #1943

Alcan Composites USA now offers a solution for attaching 3mm rigid substrates in dimensional graphic displays and exhibits designed for medium-to-long-term applications. New Profiles aluminum extrusions can be used to join substrates but to provide a finished edge to display pieces.

Profiles are available in the three shapes: U-shaped Profiles, L-shaped Profiles; and H-shaped Profiles. Profiles aluminum extrusions are available in 98-inch lengths and feature a Class II anodized finish that resists scratching and environmental wear and tear. Profiles can be cut with either a table saw or circular saw.

The Expolinc Pop Up Magnetic System can be used for more creative options for more creative designs.

The Expolinc Flag Clips allows users to change the style of Pop Up magnetic and allow for the use of fabric graphics. The Pop Up magnetic with the Flag Clip provides two different systems in one.

The Expolinc Screen Holder attaches into the Pop Up Magnetic within any of the quads and allows users to still cover the space with your image. It is easy to install using industry standard hardware for monitors. The Screen Holder will hold monitors weighing up to 20 pounds.

InteliCoat Technologies— Booth #2101

InteliCoat Technologies will be showcasing several products including Magic GBL-9, FAB-12, and POS PRO+ Satin.

Magic GBL-9 is a 9 mil, semi-opaque, one-side satin polyester backlit film. For use in both solvent and eco-solvent printing systems, GBL-9 is recommended as a front printing and viewing film where high density can be achieved.

Magic FAB-12 is a12 mil heavy woven 100 percent polyester fabric for eco-solvent and solvent ink jet printing systems. The heavy weight draping signage features quick dry time and excellent image resolution and quality, resulting in a soft appearance.

Magic POS PRO+ Satin is a satin 10 mil, printable, anti-curl, blockout film specifically designed for aqueous printing.
