J-Teck USA is a manufacturer of digital inks for sublimation transfer and direct print to textile. The company offers four different kinds of disperse dye inks depending on what type printing you do. Nanodot technology gives you added color intensity and absolutely no head clogging. At the show we will be introducing, EPS, for people who print direct to textile. EPS gives you total pass through to the other side. It’s ideal for flags and banners.

Priced at $59,995, the new HeatWave DFP-64 direct-to-fabric digital printer is a complete solution that prints directly onto polyester fabrics and other substrates. Features include: 64-inch-wide roll-to-roll operation; HeatWave sublimation inks; bulk ink system with one-liter reservoirs; on-board sublimation unit; Intelligent Pass Control technology delivers; up to 1440 x720-dpi resolution with variable dot printing; print speeds up to 230 sqft/hr; and VersaWorks RIP software.

SpectraJet - Booth #2501

With SpectraJet’s introduction of a SilverBack paper for the digital sublimation market, the company has stopped production of its three prior paper’s (RedBack, BlueBack, and GreenBack).

SilverBack works well with all three currently available inks systems for desktop, large-format, and grand-format. SilverBack is available from 17 inches up thru 196 inches.

Quality Media & Laminating Solutions - Booth #2525

Quality Media & Laminating Solutions (QMLS) will be highlighting “solutions for applying graphics inside windows”. The advantages of installing graphics inside windows includes vandalism prevention, reducing weathering of the images, and provides easier installation on upper floor window applications. QMLS now offers three adhesives and seven printable media for indoor window applications. Among the printable media is Panostar perforated film, the only indoor window perforated film, and Duravinyl 263, a unique clear printable removable film which can be applied with the “wet method” for bubble free applications.

Marabu/Clearstar LP - Booth #2535

MaraJet DI-LS is an alternative ink for Roland’s wide-format solvent printers. A perfect color match allows users to install MaraJet DI-LS 440 ml cartridges when their current cartridges are emptied. MaraJet inks combine lightfastness, vivid color density, and a wide color gamut. MaraJet DI-LS is sold in 220 mL and 440 mL cartridges in addition to 1L bulk containers.

ORACAL USA - Booth #2555

ORACAL USA will have a team of representatives on hand during the SGIA Expo to provide product literature, samples and demonstrations of many of the company’s products for digital printing and cut vinyl applications. Among the materials highlighted will be Oracal’s new plotter film family, ORACAL Series 951 Premium Cast Films, which feature up to 12-year outdoor durability and 29 new metallic colors. Also being highlighted is ORALITE 5800, a new high intensity reflective film, and ORAJET Series 3165GRA, a low-cost flat-surface film featuring the company’s RapidAir air-release liner. Additional demonstrations of Oracal digital media and laminating films (including vehicle wraps and POP applications) will be featured throughout the show in the PDAA Application Zone.

Continental Grafix USA - Booth #2730

Continental Grafix is introducing HydroSol Satin Textured LightBlock polyester films for roll-ups and pop-ups. No lamination is needed, as this product is instantly dry and highly scratch resistant. Designed for solvent and UV-curable printers, it is available in 7mil and 15mil versions.

General Formulations Inc. - Booth #2749

General Formulations Inc. announced the launch of EcoMARK Concept 233, a 3.5-mil certified biodegradable (ASTM D 5511) white matte flexible calendared vinyl film coated with a certified biodegradable (ASTM D 5210) permanent pressure sensitive adhesive laminated to an environmentally friendly 8pt. board stock liner. This film is designed to accept a variety of solvent-based inkjet and UV curable inks, in addition to conventional screen and UV offset printing systems.
