EFI was recognized at this year’s On Demand Conference & Exposition with a Best of Show Honorable Mention award in the Print MIS/ERP category for EFI Pace. Pace, EFI’s fully-integrated, scalable, browser-based print shop management program, won for enhancements to its upcoming release, which includes a more comprehensive iPhone application and improvements to wide-format capabilities.
“This recognition from InfoTrends and On Demand reiterates that EFI Pace is a leading Print MIS solution aimed at meeting the evolving needs of mid-sized commercial and specialty printers,” said Jay Farr, the general manager of EFI Pace. “Now in version 23, Pace has gained many loyal customers over the years.”
“This award is meant to recognize exceptional innovation in the digital printing industry,” stated Jeff Hayes, president of InfoTrends. “EFI is one of the leaders in our industry, and we are pleased to acknowledge their accomplishments.”
EFI Pace is a complete suite of software modules that gives total control to print shop managers, anytime, anywhere. The new iPad and newly advanced iPhone applications enable Pace users to estimate jobs, track shipments, and review job status and customer accounts from the palm of their hand.
Wide-format advancements in version 23 allow customers to quote multiple products and complex tiling jobs, as well as make ganging decisions “on the fly.”
Pace also just received job definition format (JDF) certification for “MIS to Finishing,” passing the stringent JDF testing process. With JDF capabilities, Pace users can now reduce set-up time and eliminate data-entry errors by using one file format across the production process.
The new version of EFI Pace will be available in June.
