Project: Create brick and pillar wraps to get Illinois Corn Marketing Board's marketing plan noticed late in the baseball season
According to Aaron Hambleton and Jacob Duquenne, owners of The Great Display Company, LLC, the company's best project in 2010 was with the Illinois Corn Marketing Board.
“We helped the Illinois Corn Marketing Board get their marketing messages and branding realized at the brand new baseball stadium in Normal, IL, called 'The Corn Crib', home of the Normal Corn Belters, a minor league team that is part of the Frontier League. We consulted the Illinois Corn Marketing Board on what we believed to be the best possible solution to get noticed late in the season, after their previous providers failed to do so," said Hambleton.
"We suggested nothing but the most innovative trend—brick and pillar wraps. We were able to take their existing marketing artwork, break it apart, and mock it up in proofs for approval, print, and install within a few days to meet the need for a fast turnaround and immediate results," said Duquenne.
For this project, The Great Display Company chose 3M IJ8624 Textured Surface Vinyl, a 2 mil Cast Semi-Gloss White Inkjet Vinyl with Removable Adhesive.
End result: “Success and a great new client!”
