Project: Create graphics for the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl
In collaboration with the National Football League, Vision designed, produced, and installed the look and décor graphics for the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl. Our goal was to create an environment that was celebratory and engaging using vibrant colors and nature imagery that represented Hawaii. “The feedback has been very positive. Everyone is very pleased and feels like we accomplished what we set out to do,” said Vision creative director Chris Parada.
Elements of the décor package adorned Aloha Stadium, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ihilani Hotel, Honolulu Airport, and the streets of Waikiki. It transformed Waikiki and Honolulu into the festive party atmosphere that the Pro Bowl brings to the state of Hawaii.
Vision also worked in conjunction with e2k to design and produce the NFL On Location Tailgate Party, All-Star Block, Touchdown Club, and the Pre-game and Halftime stage graphics.
Vision's design team created 249 production files that were used to produce 568 elements. These elements were produced at Vision's 70,000 sqft facility in Salt Lake City, requiring a variety of substrates that totaled 87,956 square feet. Graphics ranged from door decals, pole banners, stage backdrops, and stadium graphics to several gigantic 105x80-foot pre-game banners and much more.
