All Digital at ON DEMAND 2010

Billed as the only 100% digital printing event, the On Demand Conference & Exposition in Philadelphia April 19-22 will offer attendees three days of keynotes, educational sessions, and trade show opportunities. On Demand attendees will also receive free admission to the AIIM Expo & Conference which is co-located with On Demand.

Sessions will kick off Tuesday, April 20 with a “Future of the Industry Address: Print Opportunities in an Interactive World” by InfoTrends president Jeff Hayes. That will be followed by “CMO Spotlight,” a panel moderated by Xerox vice president Gina Testa and including chief marketing executives from leading Fortune 500 companies. The morning presentations will wrap up with “50 Ideas in 50 Minutes,” another panel moderated by Océ Production Printing Systems president Mal Baboyian.

Wednesday, the first general session will be “Improving Your Bottom Line in a Tough Economy,” featuring FedEx EDP managing director Manish Kapoor and University of Texas at Dallas director Divakar Rajamani. Next will be “Improving your Competitive Position: Rethinking Your Business Model” by MFSA president Ken Garner. The morning’s final general session will be “The War Against Print and How to Survive It,” a panel discussion moderated by vice president Charles Corr and including Steve Sherman from the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, Ben Cooper, executive director of The Print Council, and Jeff Hayzlett, CMO at Eastman Kodak.

The keynote and general sessions are all included with the On Demand Expo Hall Pass. Also included is admission to the Mailing & Fulfillment Pavilion, the application showcase theater sessions, the Best of Show awards ceremony, and the welcome reception sponsored by Xerox. The Mailing & Fulfillment Pavilion will feature offerings from 15 vendors of mailing equipment and software. The 5th Annual Best of Show Awards will be held Tuesday afternoon and will recognize “leading edge” vendors and their innovations.

The Expo will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 20 and 21, and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22. The welcome reception, sponsored by Xerox, will be held on the Expo floor from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The conference also features five educational tracks: Digital Printing Applications, Business Performance Improvement Strategies, Digital Workflows & Automation, Managing the In-Plant Operation, and The Marketing & Communications Services Market.

Highlights of individual sessions include: How to Increase Customer’s Spend with Color, Pricing for Survival, Making Digital Workflow Pay Off, Creative Ways to Turn Problems into Profits, The Business Case for Offering Mailing Services, Selecting the Right Web-to-Print Solution, and What You Need to Know About Data Management in the Age of Personalization.
