PAF Honors Grupo CAZ

The Printing Association of Florida (PAF) recently announced that Gerardo Zamora Reynoso, director general of Centro de Autoedicion Zamora, CAZ S.A. de C.V. (Grupo CAZ) is the recipient of the 2010 Graphic Arts Leaders of the Americas (GALA) Young Entrepreneur Award.

Zamora Reynoso will receive the GALA Young Entrepreneur Award during the annual reception held in conjunction with the Graphics of the Americas Expo & Conference, Miami Beach, Fla. Feb. 25-27, 2010. The 2010 GALA reception will be held at the W Hotel, South Beach.

Established in 2009, The Young Entrepreneur Award recognizes one of Latin America’s next generation of business leaders who has worked tirelessly to further the graphic communications industry. The award is given to an exceptional individual whose efforts in facing marketing and technology challenges in today’s competitive marketplace sets an example for his or her peers.

Zamora Reynoso will be honored along with the two 2010 GALA honorees, John R. Berthelson of Suttle-Straus (North America) and Carlos Hernan Aguirre Vargas of Quebecor World Chile (Latin America).

Zamora Reynoso launched his professional career in 1993 when he founded Centro de Autoedicion Zamora, CAZ S.A de C.V. as a prepress company. Today, he is director general of that company, now known as Grupo CAZ, a full-service printing plant that employs 60 professionals and is equipped with the most technologically modern graphic design, prepress and production equipment. The company offers an array of services in four integrated areas: digital, prepress, offset printing and finishing.

Grupo CAZ has won numerous awards and recognitions in local and international printing competitions including premio Nacional de Artes Graficas, Theobaldo de nigris and the Premier Print Awards, receiving the “Benny.”
