Printers and designers are invited to submit projects printed on a HP Indigo press into Mohawk’s 2009 i-Tonie Awards competition. Entries are being accepted through Dec. 31.

Mohawk celebrates printers who are producing high-quality work on HP Indigo digital color production presses. This year’s jury includes Frank Romano, Professor Emeritus, School of Print Media, Rochester Institute of Technology; Bill Garno, director, Printing Applications Laboratory, RIT; Todd Kalagher, president, Finlay Printing; and Brett Traylor, partner, Thinkso Creative.

They will select a Best of Show winner, and honorable mentions will be cited for distinctive work. Best of Show receives $1,000 and honorable mentions receive $250 each. Award winners will be announced at the next annual Dscoop Conference.

Work including, but not limited to, direct mail, books, letterheads, identity systems and brochures, and produced on Mohawk papers between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2009, is eligible for entry. The Mohawk i-Tonie Awards competition is open to projects printed on any of Mohawk’s i-Tone or Kromekote Digital paper grades, and printed on a HP Indigo press.
