GRAPH EXPO 2011 High-Impact Education: Seminar Program, Workshops, Special Sessions

 

GRAPH EXPO Theater

New at this year’s exhibition is the GRAPH EXPO Theater (Booth 3457). Here, free 30-minute hot topic sessions will offer state of the industry guidance on the hottest business building strategies that print professionals who are seeking to grow must learn more about. Each presentation will conclude with can-do take-aways that attendees can immediately implement upon their return home. Some of the featured topics are: “How Printers Can Use Data to Adapt and Grow,” “Tips on How to Integrate Print with other Channels,” “Guaranteed Ways for Energy Efficiency to Save Money,” “How to Use Social Networks to Help Grow Your Business,” “Smart Strategies to Use When Acquiring Equipment,” “Understanding the Role of the CMO to Adjust Your Business Strategy,” and “How to Transition from ‘Print Service Provider’ to ‘Marketing Service Provider.” Refer to the Show Directory for the complete schedule, titles, and times of these sessions.

 

Marketers Lounge

At GRAPH EXPO 2011, there is a new oasis of information and networking for graphic communications professionals—those who are newly transitioning into marketing services and highly experienced marketers as well—the Marketers Lounge inside the Marketing Pavilion. Sponsored by the Chicago chapter of the American Marketing Association, the Marketers Lounge is a combination networking and learning center that offers a series of free workshops with Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) who will reveal what they want from their service providers now. Sessions also include presentations on successful cross-media print integrated campaigns. Between the GRAPH EXPO Theater and the Marketers Lounge, printers and marketers who participate in the no-cost learning sessions lare guaranteed to learn something new.

 

International Day

On Tuesday, September 13, International Day and a free seminar, “Success Formulas for Doing Business in Latin America,” will be offered (4:15 - 6:00 pm) in McCormick Place, Room S103a. During this session, attendees can explore the growing markets in Latin America, listen to experienced business development experts and already established printers, and network with prospective customers and partners.

 

GRAPH EXPO partnered events

GRAPH EXPO 2011 also is the host to several partnered events that are included among the total 34 co-located events.

The G7 Summit is IDEAlliance’s industry leading set of best practices for achieving gray balance and visual consistency in the print process. The G7 Summit offers creative and print professionals continuing education and networking opportunities to assure the effective integration of G7 processes in an efficient production workflow.

The two-day XPLOR Conference program, September 12-13, features 18 educational sessions with content covering topics including: automation, document design, document re-engineering, multi-channel delivery, and new application opportunities.

The 6th Annual PBI Print & Media Conference by Print Buyers International (September 13-14, McCormick Place South) is not for newbies, but for those involved in specifying, selecting, and/or sourcing media for their marketing and corporate needs. The Print Buyer Boot Camp (September 12) delivers a high-quality, interactive education on the basics of printing for those who are new to the field.

New for GRAPH EXPO 2011 is the two-day (September 13-14) multi-track ePublishing Media Conference, the world’s only so dedicated event.
