To show off its integrated offerings, EFI (Booth 2000) is displaying its solutions around vertical markets that match customers’ business needs. EFI’s portfolio is divided into five segments: On Demand, Commercial Printing, In-Plant/CRD, Publishing/Mailing, and Mobile Computing.
“GRAPH EXPO is a great opportunity for print providers to learn about the newest technologies available to help them grow and diversify,” says Guy Gecht, the firm’s CEO.
The Digital Workflow Experience features an integrated workflow from submission to output, following a job from the EFI Digital StoreFront Web-to-print solution, to EFI Pace and EFI Monarch print MIS systems, to Fiery XF production RIP, and then to the VUTEk GS2000 printer.
As it marks the 20-year anniversary of the first Fiery digital print controller, EFI is showing the next generation Fiery platform (Fiery System 10). Also for the first time in the EFI booth is Entrac MiniNet, showing a self service and payment print terminal using EFI PrintMe cloud printing.
EFI is also offering a free service for attendees to print documents from their smartphones, tablets, and laptops with direct mobile printing via a WiFi network and the Fiery printer for attendees with Apple mobile devices running iOS version 4.2 or later. Attendees can also print to EFI’s PrintMe terminal by emailing files as attachments to print@PrintMe.com or by uploading the supported files to PrintMe.com.
EFI solutions also will be shown in partner booths, including Canon, Fuji Xerox, Heidelberg, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Xerox, and xpedx.
