Bell and Howell Shows Its Many Dimensions at GRAPH EXPO 2012

Through a combination of interactive displays, exhibits, and tours, visitors to Booth 2610 will experience the complete range of Bell and Howell’s solutions as an integrated workflow, from data through delivery.

The company is introducing a number of new innovations, including its cloud-based ADF software solution and mobile mail application, inserting and plastic card solutions, and next-generation reading and inspection systems.

Hosted solutions

Bell and Howell is introducing two hosted solutions. IQ Software Suite, a modular ADF software solution, is now available as a fully managed, cloud-based offering. Hosted IQ provides mailers with the ability to satisfy needs ranging from mailpiece tracking to production and operational tracking in a secure, fully managed environment.

BH Mobile Mail service enables businesses to launch a branded mobile app that is compatible with iPhone, Android, and Blackberry devices. Users can access summary information, make payments, review statement details, and marketing promotions. Customer service representatives can access user statements, account management tasks, and mobile user activity reporting through a secure portal.

Address validation and standardization software

Data IQ software includes an address standardization and validation module that eliminates address data errors in existing databases and in new addresses as they are entered into your system. The resulting cleaner database helps companies cut postal and marketing materials costs, successfully connect with more customers and prospects, and expand their client base.

New inserting systems

Bell and Howell’s inserting systems support a wide range of production volumes at the lowest cost of ownership.

The Sprinter 12 is suitable for short-run document automation or for use in high-volume production environments as a reprint inserter. The Ascender 16 operates at up to 16,000 mailpieces per hour and is ideal for operations that demand high throughput and integrity.

The Producer 30 is engineered for 24/7 operations, and runs at up to 30,000 mailpieces per hour with incomparable throughput, efficiency, and integrity.

Plastic card solutions

Bell and Howell has partnered with Otto Knnecke to bring the Otto Knnecke plastic card solutions to the North American market. These modular systems offer a different level of processing speed and capabilities. The CASSilo card affixing system will be featured in the Bell and Howell booth.

Vision systems

JETVision Platinum Slim is the newest in its line of JETVision reading and inspection systems and features a compact transport that supports a wide range of application sizes. The small footprint and multiple configuration options allow easy integration for table top applications as well as high-speed production equipment.

Lasermax Roll System’s WebVision system is available through Bell and Howell, and provides 100% quality control at full production speed. Powered by Bell and Howell’s JETVision software, WebVision enables customers to inspect and track every image produced on virtually any digital printer, ensuring that production quality standards are met and costly errors are minimized.
