Morgana Systems Limited is showing the latest enhancements to its post-press range including the DocuFold Pro dedicated folding solution. The product can be seen in action at GRAPH EXPO 2012 in Booth 3638.

The DocuFold was the first small-format folding device to offer an automated set-up solution. Commenting on the latest enhancements to the product, Alan Oppenheim, North American Manager for Morgana Systems, said: “The latest version of the DocuFold Pro provides for higher volume folding, in larger sizes, at higher speeds, with an even easier and faster set-up. We have added the new SmartScreen technology to the DocuFold Pro in order to improve operational efficiency and make the machine easier to learn and use.”

Sheets sizes of up to 26.5x14.3" can be accommodated, with a maximum fold length of 11.8". Production speed is totally variable, with a maximum throughput of 27,500 sheets of 8.5x11" per hour. DocuFold Pro offers an on-the-run micro adjustment for any fine tuning of the fold, and a perforating option is included as standard.

DocuFold Pro uses Morgana’s SmartScreen technology making the folder even easier to set-up and operate. All job parameters can be entered and stored for future use, with common sizes and fold patterns pre-installed in system memory. Latest features include a Proof Fold Button which sends three sheets of the job through for a final check of the job before production.
