GRAPH EXPO'S 'Print Integrated' Theme Underscores Exhibition's Broad Scope

Chicago's McCormick Place South and GRAPH EXPO 2012 is the place to be for all graphic communications professionals from across the Americas and beyond October 7-10.

Other special show floor sections include the fourth annual GREENspace, a showcase of sustainability and eco-friendly products and services. News Print—the newspaper pavilion—is also back by attendee demand for a third year at GRAPH EXPO as the dedicated show floor section for newspaper printers and production executives. The Mailing & Fulfillment Center—the industry’s largest mailing event anywhere in the Americas—offers new solutions here and extends even beyond its boundaries across the entire show floor. The Prepress/Software: Workflow & Design and Press/Finishing/PackPrint/Photo Imaging sections allow attendees to see all the hottest new software and test drive the newest digital, hybrid, and sheetfed offset presses and finishing innovations covering commercial print, wide-format, packaging, and photo imaging. Future Print, sponsored by FlexTech Alliance, will showcase two of today’s hottest technologies: Printed Electronics and RFID. Education Main Street will be the place for attendees seeking well-educated, talented industry newcomers to augment their company’s workforce.

Notably for this year’s GRAPH EXPO the very latest and most diverse array of innovations and solutions in wide-format printing/imaging and package printing will be demonstrated by vendors throughout the expansive show floor.

Another new feature at this year’s GRAPH EXPO is “The Printerverse” by the Print Media Centr (Booth 3861), a multi-media “hot spot” where attendees can experience and test drive some of the groundbreaking communications tools that are moving the graphic communications industry in new and exciting directions. This interactive networking/education haven will offer attendees the opportunity to engage in live, real time applications, networking activities, and face-to-face Q&A sessions with top industry experts. Show goers are invited to visit here throughout the show to play a few rounds of Guitar Hero, experience Intelligent Print Recognition (iPR) and Augmented Reality first hand, watch a Pecha Kucha, celebrate the launch of National Girls Who Print Day, or be part of history as Print Media Centr creates the World’s First Interactive Message Board.

Finally, 2012 will mark the debut of the Global Channel Partners Summit (Booth 4461). The free Summit is sponsored by Dealer Communicator, PrintMedia Partners, and GASC and was created in recognition of the changing customer demands, new technologies, the impact of e-commerce, and the uncertain global economy which have forever altered the dynamics of today’s industry channel. Beyond providing current industry trends and information for all channel partners—dealers, manufacturers, and end user customers—the Summit will serve as a networking hub for channel partners to meet with peers from around the world. It will also be where dealers will convene with manufacturers and customers to explore new business opportunities.
