This interactive networking/education haven will offer attendees the opportunity to engage in live, real time applications, networking activities, and face-to-face Q&A sessions with top industry experts. National Girls Who Print Day
The Printerverse will be the site of the first annual National “Girls Who Print” Day at GRAPH EXPO on Tuesday, October 9. Mary Beth Smith, founder of GWP, says that the day will celebrate women across the industry, with discussion panels, interactive social media across the country, food, drink, and door prizes throughout the day.
National “Girls Who Print” Day will be an annual event, held on Tuesday of GRAPH EXPO each year. This year’s theme “Peace. Love. Girls Who Print.” kicks off a year long effort by GWP to provide a friendly, lighthearted platform for women (along with all those good natured printer men) in the industry to educate their friends and customers about the environmental benefits of printing. GWP will be working with Printing Industries of America, The NPTA Alliance, and Two Sides US throughout 2013 to help spread the peace and love! The website, GirlsWhoPrint.com, went live in September, and serves as the campaign headquarters for the “Peace. Love. Girls Who Print.” initiative.
