Printerverse Heats Up with Free Educational Sessions at GRAPH EXPO 2012

A new feature at this year’s GRAPH EXPO is “The Printerverse” by the Print Media Centr (Booth 3861), a multi-media “hot spot” where attendees can experience and “test drive” some of the groundbreaking communications tools that are moving the graphic communications industry in new and exciting directions. This interactive networking/education haven will offer attendees the opportunity to engage in live, real time applications, networking activities, and face-to-face Q&A sessions with top industry experts. Show goers are invited to visit here throughout the show to play a few rounds of Guitar Hero, experience Intelligent Print Recognition (iPR) and Augmented Reality first hand, watch a Pecha Kucha, celebrate the launch of National Girls Who Print Day, or be part of history as Print Media Centr creates the World’s First Interactive Message Board.

Selling in the next dimension?

Does your business have a digital press? Do you want to sell your customers higher value (and margin) services? Do you want an exclusive, first look at a brand new line of specialty digital substrates launching in Chicago? If the answer is yes, then this special breakfast session should be your first stop on the show floor.

Join Molly Rosenthal of Mohawk on Monday morning at 10:00 am and start your day at GRAPH EXPO right. Rosenthal is a digital printing enthusiast, seasoned pro, and lover of all things print. She is highly skilled at designing and building innovative and successful sales strategies including achieving the ‘add-on sale’ with the newest, high-value print applications.

In this interactive session, Rosenthal will showcase innovative applications that will take print sales to the next dimension. Tangible examples will illustrate that the power of using the right substrate with personalization will help rocket your business out of this world.

National Girls Who Print Day

The Printerverse will be the site of the first annual National “Girls Who Print” Day at GRAPH EXPO on Tuesday, October 9. Mary Beth Smith, founder of GWP, says that the day will celebrate women across the industry, with discussion panels, interactive social media across the country, food, drink, and door prizes throughout the day.

National “Girls Who Print” Day will be an annual event, held on Tuesday of GRAPH EXPO each year. This year’s theme “Peace. Love. Girls Who Print.” kicks off a year long effort by GWP to provide a friendly, lighthearted platform for women (along with all those good natured printer men) in the industry to educate their friends and customers about the environmental benefits of printing. GWP will be working with Printing Industries of America, The NPTA Alliance, and Two Sides US throughout 2013 to help spread the peace and love! The website, GirlsWhoPrint.com, went live in September, and serves as the campaign headquarters for the “Peace. Love. Girls Who Print.” initiative.

In the spirit of peace, love and equal opportunity, all women and men are cordially invited to stop by for a light lunch sponsored by the NPTA Alliance and Two Sides US at noon on Tuesday in The Printerverse.
