The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), now in its fourth year of certifying printing operations sustainability program, is hosting an invitation only meeting today. The meeting will be held in room W191 starting at 12:00 PM and ending at 2:00 PM. The SGP provides a benchmark for print facilities.
A recent SGP survey of print buyers revealed that “72% of all print buyers want to know more about sustainable best practices”. This key statistic shows that sustainability has become mainstream and you need to take steps to reduce your business risk and position your business to respond to the demand by the procurement personnel of your existing and potential clients.
There will be a review of the SGP program, value and benefits, and where it is headed in the future. They will also cover the outreach and awareness campaigns scheduled for the rest of 2012. There will also be an opportunity for you to bring your questions and get them answered by those who are focused on green printing and integrating sustainability into their operations.
The meeting will be both informative and allow for networking for those interested in sustainability and offer actionable solutions to reduce your business risk in the future.
