The Printerverse (Booth 3861) will be the site of the first annual National “Girls Who Print” Day at GRAPH EXPO today. Mary Beth Smith, founder of GWP, says that the day will celebrate women across the industry, with discussion panels, interactive social media across the country, food, drink, and door prizes throughout the day.
National “Girls Who Print” Day will be an annual event, held on Tuesday of GRAPH EXPO each year. This year’s theme “Peace. Love. Girls Who Print.” kicks off a year long effort by GWP to provide a friendly, lighthearted platform for women (along with all those good natured printer men) in the industry to educate their friends and customers about the environmental benefits of printing. GWP will be working with Printing Industries of America, The NPTA Alliance, and Two Sides US to help spread the peace and love. The website, GirlsWhoPrint.com, will become campaign headquarters for the “Peace. Love. Girls Who Print.” initiative.
In the spirit of peace, love, and equal-opportunity, all women and men are cordially invited to stop by for a light lunch sponsored by the NPTA Alliance and Two Sides US at noon today in The Printerverse.
