At GRAPH EXPO 2012, Canon U.S.A. (Both 400) is demonstrating a breadth of Canon and Océ technologies designed to help print service providers simplify their everyday work processes and maximize business potential. Canon and Océ have co-developed a comprehensive lineup of award-winning solutions that will improve the rapid digital printing of high-quality images and text.
Demonstrations will take place at the Canon booth in the areas of collateral creation, book publishing, commercial photo, proofing, direct mail, display graphics and transactional printing.
From image capture and design tools to high-volume production market solutions, Canon and Océ develop, manufacture and market a comprehensive lineup of award-winning print solutions. Featured printers at this year’s show include Canon’s imagePROGRAF and imagePRESS product lines, alongside Océ’s VarioPrint, ColorStream, Arizona and ColorWave devices.
Canon will be showcasing its new line of imagePROGRAF large-format printers (iPF9400, iPF9400S, iPF8400, iPF6450 and iPF6400) that deliver superb color quality, color consistency and output speeds. Designed for use by photographers, artists, proofers and print-for-pay users, the imagePROGRAF models help complete the lineup of professional imaging products offered by Canon. Each of the imagePROGRAF models has been upgraded in comparison to previous generations by integrating several new features and functionalities to help customers achieve the ultimate color consistency.
The printers offer improved color stability designed for precise, ultra high-quality print performance with increased speed and productivity. All of these models utilize Canon’s LUCIA EX pigment ink set, an enhanced multi-sensor and advanced printing technologies specifically developed to produce prints with an enhanced color range and improved durability. Also, the imagePROGRAF iPF9400S and iPF9400 printers can now handle 60" borderless printing.
In addition, Canon’s customer favorite, the Color imagePRESS series (imagePRESS 7010VPS, 7010VP, C1+) will return to Canon’s booth at GRAPH EXPO this year, presenting live demonstrations of real-world productivity, ongoing reliability, and intuitive operation. The result is an effortless, efficient digital color production solution that opens up new opportunities for a myriad of professionals and decision makers. These devices incorporate Canon’s advanced imaging and media handling technologies and Océ PRISMAsync technologies, to control and deliver increased productivity and flexibility that is ideal for corporate reprographic departments (CRD) and in-plant facilities.
Furthermore, Canon will host in its booth the WhatTheyThink.com speaker series, featuring several engaging panel discussions and expert showcases for all GRAPH EXPO attendees.
As part of the WhatTheyThink.com speaker series, Canon will provide an in-depth overview of the products and solutions showcased at the company’s booth; a live, virtual tour of the booth will be streamed for those unable to attend.
