The Cutting Edge is Familiar Territory for Xerox at GRAPH EXPO

Build in extra time when you plan your visit to Xerox in Booth 1200. In the face of a rapidly shifting industry, Xerox has arrived at GRAPH EXPO 2012 with a full slate of solutions to help you take your company into the next generation of print and more.

“We know the graphic communications industry needs to continue to transform in order to maintain its relevance,” said Jeff Jacobson, President, Global Graphic Communications Operations, Xerox. “Print providers are reinventing themselves and are strengthening the industry to be a sought-after communications resource—offering expert advice on how to influence end users with impactful, personalized printed materials. We’re in lockstep with technology and solutions to help our customers transform their business.”

Shiny and new

Start out your booth tour with a demonstration of the newly introduced Xerox Nuvera Production System. With two models—the Nuvera 314EA and Nuvera 157EA—you can choose the speed and capacity that best suits your needs. These units operate at speeds of 314 ppm and 157 ppm, respectively. Sheet sizes up to 12.6x19.3" in a range of paper weights offer greater productivity without reducing print speed. Users can opt for the single-engine system or the dual-engine system to run duplexed pages twice as fast.

The Nuvera models can be outfitted with the new Xerox Production Stacker, which can be unloaded while it is running. This facilitates the production of larger capacity jobs without the need for manual intervention. Waist-high unloading, previously only available for the iGen models, moves into the mainstream to deliver an ergonomic solution to this market segment. An optional stack cart makes moving volumes of paper around the print shop easier.

Don’t miss the North American debut of Xerox’s iGen 150 Press. Built on the iGen platform, this digital cut-sheet color press runs at 150 ppm to produce 3,000 26" oversized sheets per hour. It features 2400x2400 dpi resolution, Auto Density Control System to detect and correct streaks before they occur, and Automated Color Maintenance, which analyzes color and notifies the operator when the press is ready for production. The press can run paper stocks such as textured, translucent, and heavy cover-weight papers. Ask about the automated in-line and off-line finishing options that complete the picture.

Other print engines being demonstrated in the Xerox booth include the Xerox 800/1000 Press, Xerox iGen4, Xerox 700 Digital Color Press, and others.

You’ll also want to investigate the upgrades to the Xerox FreeFlow software suite. FreeFlow Fleet Navigator is designed to seamlessly route jobs through a multi-vendor environment. FreeFlow VI Suite uses the familiar PDF workflow to deliver 1:1 variable data marketing communication across electronic and printed pages. FreeFlow Web Services provides a mobile-friendly interface, enabling customization of your customer interface and driving greater customer satisfaction.

Be sure to look into the Xerox ProfitAccelerator Business Development Resources—four new kits and a consulting service that help printers build their customer base and grow business. Attend the Social Media Clinics, personal consultations on how to harness the power of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and blogs to promote business.

And you must see this winner of a 2012 MUST SEE ’EMS award: Xerox’s IntegratedPLUS Finishing Solution for Booklets that eliminates bottlenecks often associated with in-line and off-line booklet production so printers can complete more jobs faster.

Easy as XMPie

XMPie, A Xerox Company, will occupy its own corner of Booth 1200. If you’re looking for the Wow factor, look no further. Here you’ll find two more 2012 MUST SEE ’EMS award winners, both being shown in North America for the first time.

XMPie Circle is a digital storyboard for multi-touch campaigns. This cloud-based solution fosters teamwork and collaboration by enabling all stakeholders in 1:1 multichannel campaigns to share concepts, agree on a blueprint, guide development, review and approve goals and touch points, and monitor analytics. It integrates seamlessly with the XMPie uProduce engine.

XMPie uStore Facebook Connect embeds the uStore Web-to-print experience into Facebook. Use visitors’ personal content from Facebook to create variable documents such as personalized calendars and photobooks. This innovative application can help you increase your partnership with your customers as well as their loyalty to you.

As always, there is also entertainment in the Xerox booth. On the Real Business Live! Stage, Chicago’s legendary and original improv troop iO will perform skits on how to stay focused on what matters most.
