GRAPH EXPO gave BWE SYSTEC (Booth 3627) a platform for the official US launch of its high-performance inserting system Fusion Cross under the motto “The [re]invention of inserting”, plus the presentation of a range of additional revolutionary inserting and software solutions.
BWE SYSTEC has developed the ”Flow-Principle” for the Fusion Cross, implementing an inserting technology which allows the entire production process to run exceptionally smoothly. This flowing concept provides greater process reliability than all other solutions commonly found on the market to date and enhances availability to a significant extent. Even at maximum processing speeds of 22,000 insertions per hour for formats up to 6x9" and 16,000 insertions per hour for flats, this pioneering new inserting approach makes for particularly low operating wear and tear on materials and machine alike. The Fusion Cross can process a huge variety of envelope sizes, from small formats such as #7 3/4, standard sizes including #10 and 6 x 9, all the way to flats and the stretch format used in North America. In line with the Single Machine Type Strategy (SMTS), it can handle almost all tasks tackled in mailroom and service centers and cover virtually all applications, offering calculable production gains.
“It is a source of great pride to me that we are now able to present the Fusion Cross to US industry specialists at GRAPH EXPO,” says John Lombard, CEO and President of BWE SYSTEC North America Inc. “I am convinced that this revolutionary new high-performance inserting system with its outstanding flexibility and fast format switches will also meet with an enthusiastic response from the North American market which is of such great importance to us.”
BWE SYSTEC is presenting the Fusion Cross in Chicago in conjunction with an EPOD module—a solution for four-color envelope printing which can be integrated in any inserting system with ease.
