MBM Corp. (Booth 2034) is featuring the U.S. launch of its Aerocut G2 air-feed slitter/cutter/creaser, calling the machine an ideal solution for digital print applications. Its improved touchscreen comes pre-programmed with 263 cutting templates. The G2’s magnetic paper guides can be positioned quickly for various paper sizes. The Aerocut’s next-gen design offers a combination of high-speed production (up to 20 sheets per minute), easy set-up, and laser-sharp accuracy. Its proven air-suction feed system and register-mark detection sensor ensure precision accuracy on every job, says MBM.

“The G2 is targeting high-end print-for-pay operations,” reports company spokesman Mike Venittelli. The new model is EFI Fiery-compatible, and an Adobe plug-in allows designers to set up jobs easily and transfer templates directly from their workstations.
