The Baum File Feeder-Creaser-Folder, on display at Booth 3200, features a couple of familiar components. But a third and final component of the system is receiving its debut at GRAPH EXPO.
Taken together, the feeder, creaser, and folder give PSPs exceptional finishing capabilities, says Shack Fisher, Regional Sales Manager of Baumfolder Corporation. PSPs enjoy speed, ease of use, and with the addition of the new creaser, elimination of the cracking in the spine that mars all too many folded materials, Fisher says.
The WF HS Creaser line is a perfect fit for companies that provide either digital or offset printing on demand, and want fast and simple operation to turn printed stock into high-quality products. It is designed for integration in-line with other devices to provide solutions for short, medium, and long production runs. Its in-line capability lets it be adapted to the Baum CF20 independent continuous feeder to enhance productivity. It also features a removable exit stacker tray that can send sheets to another in-line folder.
Baum CF20 series folders can perform multiple folding impositions using buckle folding that could not previously be accomplished. These include folding heavier stocks for more than just a half fold.
At the front of the Baum system on display at GRAPH EXPO is the Baum 20 IPF Independent Pile Feeder. This design increases productivity, using a 25"-deep pile capacity to eliminate slow, manual hand feeding. Its design features such advantages as heavy-duty locking casters, adjustable height, open-access feed table for loading, and patented dual-front blow bar system.
Taken together, the Baum Pile Feeder-Creaser-Folder system is sure to provide PSPs with cost-effective and high-quality finishing solutions to help them increase profits.
