Are you planning a business journey in 2013? If you are looking for an inspirational print destination then London, England should be on your travel agenda this year.

Following a triumphant year for Great Britain with the Queen’s Jubilee celebration and record-breaking number of gold medals won at the Olympic Games, 2012 has paved the way for FESPA 2013 in London.

Great Britain’s capital city is unrivalled for events and can be reached by more people from more destinations in less time than any other city in the world. It is a leading global hub in the world’s economy and its matchless heritage in print, business, communication, and design, make it the ideal destination for FESPA.

The campaign theme for FESPA 2013 “Your Destination for Print”, underlines FESPA’s aim to make this year’s show a global event, guiding visitors towards a vast number of business destinations. At FESPA we’re focused on creating inspiring events that motivate our global community of printers to drive their business forward. The image of FESPA as the “airline carrier”, which transports and guides the visitor, emphasises this philosophy. We want visitors to experience London 2013 as a point of connection where they can continue their business journey.

So far, 430 exhibitors have confirmed their place at the show, and exhibitors who attended Munich 2010 have expanded their space in London by 10 percent, adding more floor space to showcase their products. The success of FESPA Digital 2012 in Barcelona motivated the strongest ever re-booking from exhibitors we’ve seen. This immediate and resounding commitment to FESPA London reflects the positive attendance at the Digital show. As a result, FESPA 2013 will be the biggest FESPA show ever, with two more halls added to the original floor plan.

FESPA 2013 embraces screen and textile printing as well as digital wide-format and will take place at the state-of-the-art ExCeL London exhibition center located in the city’s vibrant Docklands. Since opening in 2000, ExCeL London has established itself as the UK’s number one exhibitions and events venue. The ExCeL also played a starring role in the 2012 Olympic Games. It was the largest venue for the games, with its five arenas each hosting a different sport.

The 100 acre campus setting hosts 30 onsite bars, cafes and restaurants, offering visitors and exhibitors first class facilities. Visitors to the ExCeL will benefit from a first rate transport system which benefitted from £6.5 billion in Olympic funding.

Visitors who would like to take the opportunity of an extended vacation can schedule in a spot of sightseeing. London is well known for its diverse architecture and historical landmarks. Buckingham Palace, St Pauls Cathedral, The Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge and Westminster Abbey, combined with more modern sights such as the Shard skyscraper and the Thames cable car show that London has plenty of culture to offer.

As a city, London is home to international design houses such as Burberry, Mulberry, Stella McCartney, and Vivienne Westwood, and its renowned art and fashion schools make London an international center for fashion alongside fashion capitals like Paris, Milan, and New York. So, if textile and garment decoration is your thing, then why not hit the FESPA Fabric runway, which will showcase this season’s latest products and trends for garment decoration and textile print. FESPA Fabric 2013 is set to take garment printers and decorators on an inspiring journey covering techniques, applications, and solutions for garment decoration.

FESPA 2013 will be host to a variety of show features including: The Promotional Products Business Academy (PPBA), Screen Printing, Digital Printing, and the Wrap Cup Master Series.

This year we are delighted to add the Promotional Products Business Academy (PPBA) feature to our lineup of show features. We have partnered with organiser CTCO to expand the opportunities for print service providers in order to help them grow their business. The PPBA will offer PSPs information on a broad range of promotional products to which printing can offer value through personalisation.
