Co-located with PRINT 13, the CPP EXPO provides package printers and converters a unique opportunity to explore the latest developments in printing hardware and software along with unprecedented educational opportunities during the co-located events which begin today.
More than 135 exhibitors with products, services, and software relating to the packaging and converting industry are present on the floors of the two shows. Also, the PRINT 13 seminar slate includes 10 sessions on topics pertinent to package printers ranging from “The Future of PDF for Packaging” to “Short Run Digital Packaging.
Tomorrow, the CPP EXPO will begin its own daily seminar slate with nine sessions. Tuesday will feature eight sessions and Wednesday will have three sessions. Sessions will cover such topics as food packaging inks, in-line vs. off-line carton manufacturing, digital printing for packaging and labels, developments in printing RFID tags and other smart packaging solutions, the future of flexible film packaging, three-dimensional digital decorating for packaging, and much more.
“This strategic alliance between CPP EXPO 2013 and PRINT 13 provides the ideal scenario for our package printing and converting event,” says Leo Nadolske, President of CPP EXPO. “Attendees of either CPP EXPO 2013 or PRINT 13 have access to the combined offerings of both events with a full entry pass to all of the exhibits. In addition, CPP EXPO's educational program is unique in that it brings together all disciplines under one roof, from printing processes including flexo, gravure, and digital to finishing that focuses on coatings, laminating, drying, and more.”
