Masterpiece Graphix (Booth 860) has been an integral part of the graphic design and print industry. Its Envision Eco-Line offers 27 different eco-friendly, green alternatives to common digital substrates. MGX’s eco-coating is FDA approved and FSC certified. ‘FSC’ stands for Forest Stewardship Council, an organization that works to promote the practice of sustainable forestry worldwide.
Masterpiece Graphix prides itself on having a 100% post consumer waste, bio-degradable, and oxo-degradable digital substrate. In the U.S. 45% of paper is recycled, but the use of recycled paper requires 64% less energy. When paper rots or is composted, it emits methane gas which is 25% more toxic than CO2. With Envision, paper can take less than five years to bio/oxo-degrade, instead of 500 years with a different type of digital substrate.
