The GREENspace pavilion at PRINT 13, sponsored by Graphic Design USA, allows attendees to discover what it means to “go green” in this single source show floor section devoted to eco-friendly products, services, and education focused on sustainability.
In addition to the GREENspace pavilion, there are various opportunities throughout PRINT 13 to gain a deeper understanding about “green” and sustainability and how it impacts your company.
Today from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, the National Paper Trade Association (Booth 460) is presenting its Paper School, a half-day program focusing on the most important topics in paper and providing a strong foundation of knowledge to build on. The five classroom sections will be taught by industry leading experts from top paper mills. Attendees can also access the PRINT 13 tradeshow floor and take a guided tour of the most advanced printing equipment in the world.
Each NPTA member company can send up to five people to the NPTA Paper School. Those attendees can be individuals from the member company or customers of that company. There is limited availability and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit Booth 460 for more information.
Additionally, from 4:00 - 5:30 pm NPTA is hosting a networking reception in conjunction with PRINT 13. Join other paper industry professionals and NPTA members on the show floor for complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm, Carl Joachim from Caslon and Co. will present a PRINT 13 seminar “Short-Run Digital Packaging: Trends, Issues, Challenges & Solutions” (R46, Fee: $125, and counts as one session towards a value package). The packaging industry consists of a complex eco-system driven by brand owners and serviced by technology providers, converters/printers, contract packagers, graphic services companies, and commercial printers. All companies engaged in this market are actively engaged in exploring how digital printing and packaging innovation can add value, open new markets, reduce costs, and address sustainability. This session will explore each of the above business dynamics, as well as the digital technology capable of addressing them.
