It’s that time of year again—trade show season. As it happens every year, in the fall wide-format business owners have the opportunity to stretch their legs and visit two of the largest graphic arts trade shows, GRAPH EXPO 14 and SGIA EXPO 14.
As with any trade shows, the core mission of attendees revolves around obtaining information—whether it is to see equipment, to see new products and developments, or to visit specific companies/products. This year, I imagine, will not be any different. Both trade shows, however, offer different options for everyone.
In Chicago’s McCormick Place for GRAPH EXPO 14 (September 28 – October 1), GASC has created a veritable “trifecta” of wide-format inkjet hubs to demonstrate the latest equipment and unique new applications, share best practices, and help attendees leap the learning curve about how to produce and sell the newest profit-making solutions. Learn more about it starting on page 23.
There’s still plenty of time to register to attend. Visit www.graphexpo.com for more information and to register.
This year, SGIA EXPO (October 22-24) will take Las Vegas by storm when it opens its doors at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The already sold out show floor will feature more than 500 exhibitors. Five educational areas on the show floor will offer attendees non-sales interaction with industry leaders. These Zones allow Expo attendees the chance to talk with industry leaders about topics ranging from installation to color management, and garment decoration to sustainability.
Before the show even opens, attendees can start their education with a half-day Workshop: “Wide-Format 101.” Taught in four parts, this course is designed to help attendees understand today’s expanding wide-format inkjet opportunity, and gain valuable strategies to help them make the best decisions for their business.
For details on this and all of the other educational opportunities available, visit www.sgia.org/expo. Also stay tuned for the October issue where we will detail the new products you have to see while you're attending.
Safe travels on this fall’s trade show circuit where wide-format technology has huge opportunities to shine.
