2012 is Your Time to Shine

With 2011 completely behind us, we've all turned our attention to 2012. But as we sit, only a few days into the new year, this gives us a unique vantage point to look back and see what worked—and what didn't—and also see how we fared during this economic uncertainty.

This year you'll have two opportunities to share your opinions—and give yourself a little bit of shameless self-promotion in the process. We all need the opportunity to toot our own horns every now and then. Make sure you don't pass up this opportunity!

Wide-Format Imaging Top Products Awards

So what were the best wide-format new products in 2011? Readers and subscribers to Wide-Format Imaging and MyPrintResource have the opportunity to cast their vote and weigh in on the Seventh Annual Wide-Format Imaging Top Products Awards. These products have caused the most excitement in the industry and have been a valuable asset to wide- and grand-format businesses over the last year. From wide-format flatbed printers and wide-format media, to laminating equipment, inks, RIP software, and scanners, Wide-Format Imaging's Top Products Awards will recognize the products that are doing the most for a PSP's bottom line.

Voting is open now until January 27, 2012. Use this link to place your votes: http://2012topproducts.questionpro.com.

The only way to find out is to fill out the confidential form to be included in the running for this year's list.

FastSigns Project of the Year Award

On a side note, Wide-Format Imaging is doing something new this year in conjunction with the upcoming FastSigns convention in a few weeks. We asked all FastSigns locations to provide us with the top job (or jobs) that they felt were the cream of the crop from all of their projects in 2011. The response was fantastic and it certainly made my job of picking the winner difficult! Stay tuned for more information on the winning company and job after I make the announcement at the Fastsigns Convention in Nashville.
