NAQP Owners Conference: You Gotta Be There!

If you haven’t yet made plans to attend this year’s NAQP Owners Conference (October 4-6 in Chicago), you’d better get on the ball with your travel plans. You certainly don’t want to miss it. Click here to sign up.

I know, I know…the economy is still tough, there’s a lot going on in your business, and you’re too busy by half. That’s precisely why you need to be there. Print owners need to shake out the cobwebs. You need to be reminded every now and again that you are not just another employee in your shop. You are the leader; the one who makes the decisions and who is responsible for success or failure of your company.

Once a year, you have the opportunity to take advantage of the educational sessions and the peer networking that the NAQP Owners Conference provides. As the head of your company, you owe it to yourself and everyone who depends on you to stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies. Open your mind and expose yourself to new ideas that can help you run a more efficient and profitable business. And don’t overlook the value of being able to talk to other print owners who deal with the same issues you do, day in and day out—it is incalculable. Their shared ideas might help you over hurdles that have been slowing you down. And chances are you have something to say that will help someone else overcome their obstacles.

You’ll also be able to share in the joy of achievement when you attend the awards luncheon that celebrates the achievements of your fellow printers and industry leaders. You’ll be inspired by award presentations for Printer of the Year, Industry Award of Distinction, Lifetime Membership Award, Supplier of the Year, and Product of the Year. And the Print Excellence Awards printing competition will fire you up to enter your best projects so that you can take home a crystal trophy of your own next year.

As if that’s not enough, the NAQP Owners Conference immediately precedes Graph Expo; home of the hottest print technologies on the planet. This year, especially, you need to be at Graph Expo because it will mark the North American debut of many new products and services that were rolled out at drupa last May. The whole shebang kicks off with a free Sunday morning session presented by Quick Printing. It will feature a Q&A shootout with most of the QP columnists. Look for Tom Crouser, Mitch Evans, Dave Fellman, Steve Johnson, Stuart Margolis, Sudhir Ravi, Joe Rickard, and Tawnya Starr. Submit questions to me in advance at Karen@quickprinting.com
