The new laminator extends on the capabilities of its predecessor the ValueLam 4500HC Hot/Cold laminator with two additional pull rollers, in-line slitters and forced air cooling fans. While the popular ValueLam4500HC remains in the company's strong line of roll laminator machines, the ValueLam 4500HC-4 Laminating/Mounting machine offers print shops and sign shops exceptional encapsulation capabilities while still having the capability of mounting items up .5-inch thick and 45 inches wide. The ValueLam 4500HC-4 Laminating/Mounting machine offers a pressure sensitive adhesive liner rewind, an additional rewind for the automatic roll up of laminated prints and a foot pedal for hands-free starting and stopping of the machine.

Banner American Products, Inc. has launched its new Easy-Lam green roll laminator. The new laminator was specifically engineered to provide energy savings for a variety of businesses and organizations seeking both economic and eco friendly solutions to its energy use. The Easy-Lam green roll laminator is able to cut energy usage in two important ways. It features a standby mode that brings the thermostat down from a laminating temperature of 300°F to 150°F while the machine is not being used resulting in an energy savings of more than 50 percent. Getting the machine back to a laminating temperature of 300°F is accomplished within seven minutes. Another feature is a one hour automatic shutoff of the machine resulting in further energy savings when the machine is not in use.
