Meadows Publishing Solutions (MPS) has released a stand-alone version of its CopyFit software. CopyFit Desktop is an XTensions module for QuarkXPress (Macintosh or Windows), which provides a number of copy fitting features. The software is designed to detect and remedy overset or underset text conditions in any document, and repair the condition automatically, according to a set of user-defined copy fitting rules. It is compatible with QuarkXPress versions 4.11 through 6.5 for the Macintosh, and version 6.5 for Windows users. In addition, a server version of CopyFit is also available for QuarkDDS.
