This specialty silver ink shows off with its extremely high reflectance and can be mistaken as foil board in some cases. The ink is a press-ready stable one-component UV ink that does not require any modification resulting in easy setup, great runnability, and streamlined production. ACTEGA Kelstar's (Booth 2639) formula UV9058DG is your ticket to successful coating if you are a digital printer that UV coats printed material offline and, have had issues with inter-coat adhesion between toner and UV coating. Digital printing machines use toner inks which are sometimes formulated with low viscosity oil and wax raw materials. There is difficulty applying UV coating over these types of toners due to low surface energy which causes inter-coat adhesion issues. Ultrasheen UV-9058DG is specially formulated to promote adhesion to these difficult toner based inks.
