John Hyde
John Hyde is a Senior Vice President of NAPL, a not-forprofit business management association representing progressive, leading companies in the graphic communications industry. John is an entrepreneur with the ability to read the situation quickly when a client is at a crossroads, allowing critical ownership decisions to be made faster, with less risk, and with greater confidence. His insights are based on “what works” and “what doesn’t work” in the print and graphic communications industry, having advised owners and senior managers of leading companies – and those who want to be leaders – for nearly 20 years.
John is a trusted advisor to many NAPL member-clients who are seeking to build long-term shareholder value by strategic mergers and acquisitions. His subject matter expertise lies in the areas of business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, sale of business, debt restructuring, financing, partnership agreements, succession planning, and turnaround management.
A licensed attorney, John holds a B.A. degree from Colgate University and a J.D. from Tulane Law School. He joined NAPL in May 2004 as part of NAPL’s acquisition of his consulting firm, Rampart Associates, which he founded in 1990 after practicing law in the late 1980s at two large law firms known for mergers and acquisitions and for bank debt restructuring.
