Abhay Sharma

Abhay Sharma, Professor, School of Graphic Communications Management
Ryerson University

Abhay Sharma is Professor (and former Chair) of the School of Graphic Communications Management, Ryerson University, Toronto. Ryerson University offers a BS program in Graphic Communications Management, the only 4-year degree program in printing in Canada. Prior to joining Ryerson University, Sharma was an Associate Professor at Western Michigan University, where he authored the text Understanding Color Management, Delmar Thomson, 2004. Dr Sharma has worked as a Senior Engineer in Colour & Imaging Technology at Fujifilm Electronic Imaging (FFEI), UK. In 2011, Abhay contributed significantly to the IDEAlliance Digital Press Certification program, a certification program for toner-based digital presses. Sharma has a BSc (Hons) in Imaging Sciences from the University of Westminster, and a PhD from Kings College, London.
