Printing Standards Forum
IDEAlliance, NPES and GASC are hosting a Printing Standards Forum on the Graph EXPO show floor. Being held in the United States for the first time.
For media production leaders in premedia and print, this first-ever North American event brings together industry leaders who develop and publish the specifications and standards used domestically and internationally for the betterment of our industry.
The Printing Standards Forum will examine and update attendees on the latest graphic communcations standards being directed by global standards-making organizations, ISO and CGATS Graphic Arts Committees. Led by developers, experts, and practitioners of global standards and specifications, attendees will participate in discussions and debate on such issues as:
- Metrics vs data set conformance
- Process control
- Printing tolerances & conformance standards
- Lighting, viewing and instrument standards
- PDF/X and other file and image formats

Printing Standards Forum Learning Labs are informative, thirty-minute educational demonstrations by technology innovators, who will demonstrate how their product, software, process or procedure supports the implementation of standards, and benefits their customer’s workflow efficiency and/or reduction in the cost of their operations.
