As the leading manufacturer of sitting, scoring, trimming, perforating and drilling machinery, Rollem is focused on providing customers with the most automated and affordable systems to complete the important final bindery processes. Visitors will see live demonstrations on six finishing systems; each showing highly profitable jobs including greeting cards, photo cards and sheets, postcards, direct mailers, business cards and more.
Key to Rollem is the ability to start with a multiple-up press sheet, trim, slit, score, perf, glue and create a finished product ready for boxing or mail bins. Extra touch points, time and waste are all eliminated, resulting in increased profits and quicker bindery turnaround times.
Rollem's line includes models for all levels of production. One new Introduction at this year’s GRAPH EXPO show will be the 2D Finisher. This is the finest entry level, bi-directional slit, score, trim and perf system on the market and the live demo will show two-up greeting card press sheets finished in one process. This system offers the high quality and 100 percent accuracy Rollem is known for while being positioned at a favorable price range.
Four other two-directional systems will be demonstrated including the ETR System with its new Interleaf Strike capability. The unit has the ability to program perforations on different pages such as multiple page invoices with the last page requiring a tear-off remittance. This is a feature unique to Rollem, with the ability to program in/out perforations.
The dual-feed Champion 990 is another affordable system for slitting down sheets of postcard or business card products. This unit has manual dual feeding trays, making it ideal for lower volume runs.
Rollem consultants will be on hand to discuss new ways to produce the most in demand jobs your customers want. From fully automated in-line systems with digital presses, to near-line, high volume units and lower volume needs, Rollem has the expertise and the answers to your finishing questions.
