Allegra Chooses Facebook for Nonprofit Challenge

Contest hosted by the Allegra Network lets America choose most deserving nonprofit to receive custom-fit marketing and graphic communications services

This winter, Allegra is letting America decide which deserving nonprofit organization should receive the chance to revamp its marketing and graphic communications.

Whether struggling to provide essential information about their organization to their community or seeking to improve their business through enhanced marketing, all nonprofit organizations nationwide can nominate themselves for “The Allegra Nonprofit Challenge.” Community members can also nominate their favorite nonprofit organization to receive $1,000 in marketing and graphic communication services, which will be custom-fit by their local Allegra center.

“Allegra is providing a great opportunity for the nation’s nonprofit organizations, which play a critical role in making their communities a better place to live,” said Bob Milroy, chief marketing officer of Allegra Network, one of the world’s leading marketing, print and graphics communications franchisors in the world. “We felt it would be appropriate that the deciding factor came down to the organizations and the community members who have deep connections to them.”

Board members, employees, or community members interested in entering a nonprofit must share a photo, video or story illustrating how the organization is making a difference in their community. Submissions can be made to the Allegra Facebook fan page by March 18, 2011 at www.facebook.com/allegrampm.

The entry with the most “like” votes will be declared the winner. Fans are encouraged to share their submission with friends, family and co-workers to vote for their nonprofit organization.

“We understand the critical role marketing plays for charitable organizations that are in need of funds and support,” added Milroy. “We’re eager to help a nonprofit organization see the value in professional marketing services that can make all the difference when it comes to brand awareness, volunteer registration, donations and more.”

Independently owned and operated Allegra centers are full-service marketing communications providers with in-house printing technologies including full-color printing, short-run digital printing, variable data capabilities, color signs, posters and banners, graphic design, mailing services, promotional products, print management solutions and project consulting.
