Heidelberg and Konica Minolta Confirm Their Exclusive Partnership in Australia Will Continue Strongly

Heidelberg’s alliance with Ricoh will not affect its relationship with Konica Minolta in Australia

Following the announcement that Heidelberg and Ricoh will form a global alliance, Heidelberg’s local Managing Director, Andy Vels Jensen, has confirmed that the exclusive relationship with Konica Minolta in Australia will continue unaffected.

“There will be no change to our agreement with Konica Minolta in Australia. We enjoy an excellent partnership with Konica Minolta in Australia; one that has seen us sell two digital presses a month since commencing the exclusive cooperation,” says Andy Vels Jensen, Managing Director Heidelberg ANZ.

Hiro Kaji, Managing Director of Konica Minolta Australia says: “Our relationship with Heidelberg has been extremely successful with strong demand from customers. Both companies are committed to continuing this partnership in Australia and it will not be affected by developments on a global level. Working with Heidelberg and Kodak at PrintEx in May is another example of how local partnerships can work very well.”

Heidelberg started selling the Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS range of digital presses to the cutsheet offset market in Australia, following the announcement of the partnership in May 2010.
