Olympic Printing Updates their Pressroom

Olympic Printing in Norcross, GA, recently replaced their non-automated Heidelberg MO and GTO with a fully automated, used Speedmaster CD 74 five-color press with coater. The 23” x 29” format size combined with the wider range of stock thicknesses that can be run on the CD 74 will allow Olympic to expand their offerings in the metropolitan Atlanta market.

 

The installation of the CD 74 was managed by ServiceAccess, the service arm of the AccessGroup. David Gale, President and Owner of Olympic Printing, was very satisfied by the service and support provided, noting, “While the integration of a new press always presents challenges, ServiceAccess’ professionalism and expertise greatly eased our growing pains.”

 

Lawton Printers Takes Advantage of Undervalued Equipment Pricing

Lawton Printers in Orlando, FL has replaced their aging McCain stitcher with a used, late model Heidelberg stitcher. With 111 years of experience, Lawton Printers is one of the oldest, continuous family-owned and operated commercial printers in the United States. The increased speed and reduced make-ready time of the ST 90 will improve their productivity and reduce manpower.
