Permlight for Signs announced John Wilson has been named Southwest Territory manager. Wilson will be responsible for the relationship management and new account development for distributors and sign companies for the Southwest Region, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
"With over 15 years of signage industry experience, Wilson's appointment represents another step in Permlight for Signs' commitment to strengthening its leadership position in the sale of LED lighting into the sign market," said William Hamm, VP of sales and marketing for Permlight for Signs. "During his career, Wilson has played a significant role in the adoption of new technology to the signage business and we are confident his breadth of expertise will prove invaluable to our customers."
Wilson joins Permlight for Signs from France Inc., a division of the Scott Fetzer Company, and a manufacturer of neon transformers and ballasts for the sign industry, where he also served as Territory manager. Prior to France, Wilson was president of JSW Enterprises, Signs Plus Banners and More, where he was responsible for the leadership and day-to-day operations of a full service sign company.
Wilson has a bachelor of business administration degree from the Sam Houston University and resides in College Station, Texas.
