Continuing to set the bar as the leader in the visual communications industry, Fastsigns, the world's premier business-to-business marketing solution franchise with more than 530 locations, announces the signing of a new conversion franchise in Toledo, OH.
The deal is part of a national growth strategy focusing on expansion through a combination of new center development and conversions of existing independent sign shops. As part of the conversion initiative, Fastsigns offers the dominant brand name in the visual communications industry, the highest average unit volumes, unparalleled franchisee satisfaction, access to endless marketing resources and all of the benefits that come from networking with various centers nationwide. Fastsigns has also recently secured $4 million in financing for franchisees opening new centers.
"Fastsigns offers a proven economic model and stability to individuals looking to increase their profits while decreasing costs," said Mark Jameson, senior vice president of Franchise Development for Fastsigns. "Our conversion initiative allows store owners to experience all the benefits and support of an established system while remaining in business for themselves."
The new Toledo Fastsigns is expected to convert in April 2011 in Springfield Township and will be a conversion of the independent sign and graphics store, Toledo Signs and Designs. Having owned and operated the store for the past 13 years, local owner Karrie Brock saw it as an ideal time to affiliate herself with an industry-leading franchise system to help her continue to grow her business. Karrie started working in the industry during college, formed a passion for the industry and took the opportunity to open her own business.
"Despite the economy, our company has remained successful, but becoming a part of the Fastsigns franchise community presents us with the opportunity to grow at a whole new level," said Brock. "The Fastsigns franchise owners are supportive of each other and we are excited to have the chance to bounce ideas off other Fastsigns franchise owners who have a vast knowledge of the business model."
