2011 BIA Hall of Fame Class Announced

The Binding Industries Association (BIA) has announced the inductees of the 2011 BIA Hall of Fame. The recipients will be honored during the 2011 BIA Annual Conference, May 23-25, 2011 at the Omni ChampionsGate, FL.

The BIA Hall of Fame class of 2011 includes Jim Decker, The John Christian Company, Bill Seidl, Seidl's Bindery, and Jack Rickard, Rickard Bindery.

"I can't think of a more fitting occasion to honor these individuals than at the 2011 BIA Annual Conference," said Matt Anson, president, Bindagraphics. "This conference embodies the true spirit of networking and education, a perfect place to shine a light on these noteworthy careers."

The BIA Hall of Fame is conferred to individuals who have made a dedicated effort to advance the betterment of the industry. These individuals have gone above and beyond the call of duty for their profession, the industry, and the BIA. This award is designed to perpetuate the lifelong careers of the people in the trade bindery, graphic finishing, and custom loose-leaf industry, recognizing them as a major influence that brought about positive change.
