Sold Out EFI Users' Conference Begins April 26

EFI is completing final preparations for its now sold out Connect users' conference, taking place April 26 to April 29 at the Wynn Las Vegas. With record-setting customer attendance, Connect will once again enable print industry leaders from around the world to attend educational sessions, test drive the latest EFI products, voice their opinions at user group meetings, discuss industry trends, and network with peers.

For the first time at Connect, EFI is hosting a special three-day Fiery digital print service and solutions track. The Fiery Tech @ Connect conference is an advanced training forum for reseller sales analysts and specialists. The interactive sessions will help attendees discover how to uncover new business opportunities, offer the right solutions based on correctly assessing customer needs, and successfully close competitive deals.Topics include advanced color management, JDF integration, variable data printing, workflow efficiency improvements, new Fiery features, and more, and include extensive hands-on exercises.

Also a first at Connect, EFI will hold Radius break-out sessions and hands-on PrintStream training sessions. The PrintStream track includes an in-depth look at the product roadmap for this newly acquired offering, which includes integration of fulfillment capabilities into Monarch and Pace.

The conference will kick off with a lively "fireside chat" between Adobe President and CEO Shantanu Narayen and EFI CEO Guy Gecht on Tuesday evening, April 26. The two will discuss a variety of topics, including the future of printing and Adobe's strategy moving forward. Other speakers during the week include EFI executives and a panel of print customers.

EFI is one of the only companies in the print industry to provide a fully integrated, end-to-end workflow, which will be highlighted throughout the event with live demos. The Connect lab area will once again showcase the full portfolio of EFI solutions, including the complete print MIS line-up (PrintSmith, Pace, Logic, PSI, Monarch, Radius, PrintStream, PrintFlow, and Digital StoreFront), numerous Fiery digital print servers and proofing solutions, VUTEk, Rastek, and Jetrion printers.

The event will also feature the return of the live auction, held Wednewsday, April 27 during the evening sponsor appreciation reception. Items for auction include training sessions, site audits, and Fiery and MIS software modules. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation.
