GPO Names Chief Information Officer

The US Government Printing Office (GPO) named Charles Riddle as chief information officer (CIO). Riddle brings nearly two decades of experience in leading complex information technology (IT) organizations. He came to GPO from the US Department of Agriculture Food Safety Inspection Service where he worked for five years, most recently serving as Chief Technology Officer. In this position Riddle planned, managed, and executed an annual IT budget of $76 million and supported more than 9,000 employees nationwide. Riddle also held various IT related positions at Booz Allen Hamilton, Better World Telecom, Cable and Wireless, NETtel Communications and Keystone Communications. Riddle earned his Bachelor's Degree in Communications from George Mason University and his Master's Degree in Business from Johns Hopkins University.
