Franchise Services, Inc., parent company of the Sir Speedy and PIP Printing and Marketing Services franchises, recognized several Sir Speedy and PIP salespeople with sales achievement awards at the company’s annual Sales Forum. The sales training event, held April 13-16 at the Hyatt Regency at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, attracted 160 salespeople from across the country. Forty-nine salespeople received Gold and Platinum awards, which are based on 2010 sales activity.
A highlight of the 2011 Sales Forum was the presentation of the Don F. Lowe Salesperson of the Year Award given to Lee Whitaker of PIP in Burlington, NC. As expressed by Mark Johns, Senior Business Development Consultant for Franchise Services, “In addition to being a ten-time top performer, Lee has been a sales leader, trainer, mentor and friend to many. He is most deserving of this award.”
Don F. Lowe is the chief executive officer of Franchise Services and a member of the Sales & Marketing Executives International Academy of Achievement Hall of Fame. The award is given to a salesperson who has demonstrated professionalism in his/her sales career, who supports the National Salesperson Program and participates in sales events, who’s customer service focus brings credit to his/her franchise location and brand, and for his/her contributions to the success of others in the salesperson network.
The annual Sales Forum event is open to all salespeople in the PIP, Sir Speedy, Signal Graphics and MultiCopy National Sales Program, as well as franchise owners. The three-day event encompasses general sessions featuring both industry and motivational speakers, breakout sessions with specific tracks and an awards dinner. This year’s featured guest speakers included, Regina R. Testa, Vice President, Global Business & Strategic Marketing Group, Xerox Corporation and Scott Deming, noted author and inspirational speaker.
